Security and confidentiality

Safety overview

Keeping customer data safe and secure is a priority for us. We use our own services just like our clients. And, like our customers, we don’t want our data to be compromised. Therefore, our goals are the same as those of our clients: to ensure that all of our important data is as secure as possible.

We protect your data.

All data is instantly written to multiple disks, backed up daily, and stored in multiple locations. The data that our clients upload is stored on servers that use modern techniques to eliminate bottlenecks and points of failure.

Your data is sent using HTTPS.

As long as your data is in transit between you and us, everything is encrypted and sent using HTTPS. All account passwords are hashed so our own staff can’t even see them. If you lose a password, you must reset it.

Protection against data loss.

All our servers work with total redundancy. Our systems are designed to stay up and running, even if multiple servers fail. All databases are replicated in real time and regularly backed up off-site.

Data center security.

Our data centers manage physical security 24/7 with biometric scanners and the usual high-tech features that data centers always boast about. We use Amazon AWS for our data centers and undergo regular SOC 2 audits.

Infrastructure regularly updated.

Our software infrastructure is regularly updated with the latest security patches. Our products run on a dedicated network that is blocked by firewalls and carefully monitored. While perfect security is a moving goal, we work with security researchers to keep up with the state of the art in web security.

We protect your billing information.

All credit card transactions are processed using secure encryption, the same level of encryption used by major banks. Our credit card processing provider is a PCI DSS level 1 compliant service provider and uses advanced security measures to protect your information both during the transaction and after it is completed. Our provider is certified as compliant with the card association’s security initiatives, including Visa Cardholder Information Security and Compliance (CISP), MasterCard® Site Data Protection Program (SDP), and Discovery Information Security and Compliance (DISC).

Our people.

We train our team in security best practices, including how to identify social engineering, phishing scams, and hackers. All employees sign a confidentiality agreement that describes their responsibility to protect customer data. Our teams also continuously monitor all of our systems for signs of intrusion.

Report a vulnerability.

If you think you have encountered a security problem with our applications or on our websites, please inform us immediately. You can submit your report through our responsible disclosure program HackerTrade, or simply email us directly at security@tradingvivo.com. Our security team will investigate all reports and fix legitimate issues as soon as possible.
